I'm Robbe Vanden Brande, currently serving as an XR Practical Assistant at the Center of Educational Expertise at the Faculty of Medicine, KU Leuven. My journey into the realm of education and technology began with the completion of my educational master's degree in visual arts at PXL MAD in 2022.

Having started my career as an art teacher, I transitioned to KU Leuven at the end of 2022, where my focus has been on expanding the catalog of XR applications within the Faculty of Medicine. My role involves a dynamic mix of project management, communication bridging the development and expertise sides, and hands-on development work.

My proficiency in working with 360 videos and 3D dates back to 2018, and I've witnessed substantial growth in my skills over the years. Beyond the technical aspects, I am driven by a profound belief in leveraging new technologies for educational purposes. I see technology not merely as a tool to impart specific skills but as a gateway to prepare students for a rapidly evolving world.

In my advocacy for technology in education, I emphasize the importance of strategic implementation. It's crucial to harness technology where it genuinely enhances the learning experience, providing a distinct advantage in education.
