Martin is an online learning officer at Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science at Swansea University. His remit are all things around online learning - support colleagues and learners with the proper use of technologies and online learning approaches. Working previously as a teacher Martin has a broad experience in providing the best learning experience using various digital technologies. One of his main interests is a student-centred learning and active learning approach in online environment. This includes structural and learning design aligned with various online activities. Martin has also developed a couple of Immersive 360 learning environments as an innovative learning space for healthcare students. He is also observing new ways of simulated learning experience using Virtual Reality and Immersive Walls within a newly established Simulation Centre at Swansea University.
